Time to choose ladies. Pats or Colts? The winner will obviously be the favored one to win it all.

52-7? Are you kidding me? Any time one NFL team does that to another NFL team, its just like, wow man. I am at a loss for words.

This will be the game of the season to watch, no doubt. I suspect these two will meet once again for the AFC Championship when it counts, but who here (besides James) think the Colts actually have any real shot at winning this one?

My vote is the Pats by at least 10. Sorry James. I'm afraid we are going to see Peyton crying like a baby after the final seconds tick away and NE is just taking a knee to end this debacle. The Pats are so much more talented on both sides of the ball its not even fair. Reminds me of the Cowboys in their prime in the 90s or the 49ers.

Opinions?

I think the pats are going to take the colts to school...honestly I don't think any team is in the same league as the pats including the colts...I think the game is goin gto be completely one sided just like every other game the pats have played this year....as for running up the score against the skins...all I have to say is cry me a river...I think it was just head games being played honestly...sending a message to the colts...saying we can score when we want and how we want and we can shut you down

I would have to agree Chris. I just don't see the Colts being able to score with NE in this one. It will probably be close for the first quarter, then bye bye Manning.

If I were the Colts, my whole defensive game plan would be to take out Brady. Hard and low to have any chance to win this one.

I think the colts are very over rated...they have been playing highschool equivelent teams so far this year...anyone can look like an all star team if you had their schedule

Actually, they have played "better" teams than the Pats. The Colts have played teams with better winning records than the Pats. Still, it makes no difference. The Pats easily dispensed the ones with winning records as well.

What you mean like last year in the playoffs when Peyton took a knee to end that game after Sanders got an interception off Brady? You talk of how good the Pats are, but look who they've played... Miami... Washington. *yawn*

Indy > Miami. Indy > Washington.

If by "more talented" you mean, they are extremely talented, then yes I agree but I think you sell Indianapolis' defense a bit short due to reminiscing about last year. We absolutely destroyed Jacksonvilles running game last week. I don't care if their starting QB was out for the game, running the ball takes him out of the equation and we still put a stop to it.

The Pats are a team to air out the ball, however so are the Colts.

It'll be up to the offenses to outscore each other, but I'm not discounting either team to win that easily.

No, I mean more talented. From the QB down to the offensive line, and from the nose tackle to safety. NE is da bomb. This is the week Colts fans are awaken from their drunken stupor of last season. 'Tis a new season! Brady didn't have anyone to throw to last season, yet still almost beat the Colts. Go figure. Now he has 3 receivers to throw to. Tell me, have the Colts played anyone where they had to stop 3 receivers who has the top rated QB in the league?

I think the Colts are UNDERRATED! Can you believe THAT?!

They've won 12 in a row, are the undefeated, defending Super Bowl champions, and have a better defense than the team that beat the team they are about to play.

The Pats are better than last year's version (see: Moss, Randy), but so are the Colts. I think it's going to be close. It's one of those games, like the 49ers and the Cowboys, that if something happens to break one way or the other, both teams are capable of blowing the other out. A blowout either way would NOT surprise me if things start breaking one team's way.

It's like two heavyweight boxers with concussive power in each hand. You let your guard down for ONE second, and BOOM!! you're hitting the canvas. It can happen quick: a turnover here, a penalty there, one or two big plays and either team could be staring 21-0 right in the face.

IF the Pats win, I think they'll go undefeated. If the Colts win, I don't think they will but whoever wins this game will win the SB.

Yet still almost beat the colts... yet didn't beat the colts. You're underrating the Colts big time apparently. Peyton doesn't run up the score, and damnit... those are the BEST games.

The fact of the matter is the Pats are overrated and did this bullshit this week in their 52-7 win to showoff against a shitty team.

Just be happy that Harrison is out for now with a knee injury, maybe those "super duper awesome nobody can ever ever beat them because they are Gods" Pats may win. Yet last year Indy's Defense was in the bottom three ranked in the entire league, and we still managed to put a W in our column against them. I don't care who Brady has to throw to this year, the Colts play cover two and are better at defending the throw than the run than they ever have been.

because 3 superbowl rings is over rated...I'm not a fan of the pats but damn I call it like I see it...pats might have the best put together team in football history...not taking away from other great frnchise teams but I don't see any that can hold a candle to what the patriots have done in the last decade...and don't get me wrong manning is a great quarterback too probably the smartest quarterback to ever play but I think brady might be 1 of the best talent wise to ever play the game...I rank him with montana marino and young

Guess what? Manning has his SB ring, but you still underrate the team.

I'm not saying they aren't good, but if they were the best they should have destroyed the Colts and gone all the way last year.

This year they just have something to prove after losing to us in the playoffs, and then this whole 'cheating' thing came out. Maybe I just don't like teams that run up the score 52-0 by the 4th quarter. I think it's poor showmanship.

But I'll keep this all in mind since the Colts haven't lost at home since... I dunno some point in the 2005 season probably?

Yeah, I think its poor sportsmanship when an NFL team can't stop another NFL team from scoring 52 points before scoring some themselves. Thats a damn problem.

I do hope its a good game though. Two good teams battling it out makes for good football. I just don't think they are in the league of the Pats. Maybe I'm wrong. I guess we shall see come Sunday.

First off, by taking the starting QB out, it PROFOUNDLY affects the run game. When you know the other team can't throw the ball well, you can sell out to stop the run. The Colts were putting 9 men in the box towards the end. That's what happens when a team is one-dimensional.

And the Pats are going to dominate, plain and simple. I realize they still have to play the game, but the Pats are simply the best team I've ever seen, in every aspect of the game. I don't think anybody can stop them the way they're playing right now.

Um... yeah... bravo on the sarcasm. At the half the Pats were up 30 something points. At that point they should have taken Brady out, but they didn't. They were running up the score. That is poor sportsmanship on that team. Period. Or hell maybe you like watching one sided blowouts by a team trying to prove something against a bad team. I don't see how that makes the Pats "in a league of their own".

I think Colts vs Pats is going to be a great game, but the Pats aren't going to walk all over them like you think. As I said, it's at home for the Colts. We haven't lost at home, and frankly, we've already beaten them at home.

Why should they have to their starting QB out? Ever hear of breaking records? Besides, 30-0 at half is not a safe margin by any means. Their backup QB sucks.

You keep alluding to last season's win. Your forgetting some key elements. First, it is a new season. Second, this ain't the same Offense Indy faced last season.

Like I said, I can't wait for this game. Finally a regular season game with some meaning!

and Indy's defense this year isn't the same defense that the Pats faced last year. You're downplaying the Colts for some reason, and I don't know why. Wait, I keep forgetting. The Colts simply are underrated. You have two teams undefeated 7-0, 8-0. and you don't think the Colts are in the same league as a team as the pats?

The Colts have broken plenty of records without having to run up the score to completely demolish the morale of any team they face. lol

In any event, it's going to be one hell of a great game with its ups and downs. Indy will put up a great fight and I think Manning wants the undefeated title more.

I'm just having some fun. :) My team sucks so I have to make fun somewhere. Personally, I hate the Pats. I actually do like the Colts. I don't know what it is. Just for some reason I don't feel like they can match up well against the Pats. However, just like GP stated in another thread, e-racing is for thugz. Let them suit up and settle it on the field. All this talk is, well, just talk. :D

I know... I'm not tryin to e-argue about how great the Pats are, because they are an awesome football team, but so are the colts, and their record should speak for itself also. I was just gettin' confused. ;)
