Doesn't particularly matter though... the Dems will give Obama a standing ovation every three sentences, and the GOP will just sit there. They'll just be interspersed together instead of on opposite sides.

But then one (I won't say who) will slap the other on the back of the head and a general Congressional brawl will commence. It will be historic! :)

Local talk radio guy right now is saying that opposition is just a show anyway. Pointed out that the Repubs didn't vote against national healtchcare; they voted against the Dem plan. They have their own plan ready. Says that both have the common goal of growing the government.

Prolly why he'll never be famous.

I'd pay money to see that... it's like someone on my other forum said...

I really would like to go back to the days when congress critters would beat each other with canes on the floor of the legislature. We could put that shit on PPV and eliminate the debt.

***MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY***

"Shreaker of the House" Pelosi vs John "The Mav" McCain in a no holds barred STEEL CAGE DEATH MATCH.

***BE THERE BE THERE BE THERE***

which was followed by someone else...

We might as well admit that politics has the same level of intelligence as professional wrestling, if not less. Turn the conventions into Smackdowns. Imagine watching Hillary "Overcharge" Clinton calling out a foe a la Macho Man Randy Savage. Each politician could have a signature move. Obama pulls a Kenyan Krippler on Mitch McConnell BUT WHAT'S THIS, JOHN BOEHNER HAS A FOLDING CHAIR!!!

If you look at the GOP plans, at least the ones being floated at the same times as Obamacare, I don't think you could really call them "nationalization".

Same as what finally came out of the wash this time, except what might be buried in that 2000+ pages. I'm not interested in going down that road again, though.

I want reform in terms of insurance companies competing across state lines, expansion of MediCaid if states want to do that, and pushing all of this crap away from the federal government. That's the kind of health care "reform" that I want to see.
