It was probably costing them more to keep her in jail .. what with having to keep her seperated and such.

They can't really just throw those type people in with the "regulars" .. they would fuck them up just because .. and then they'd be "done" in the looks department. That's more than punishment if you think about it.

For her, being grounded and no partying/no one taking pictures of her .. will be torture.

I would assume by "grounded" they mean she isnt' allowed visitors either. I would also assume that means she isn't allowed to drink ro do drugs .. I bet they will test her to make sure.

House arrest isn't something new they made up just for her. I think they were just afraid someone was going to hurt her in there. They said they could not fully protect her during bathing times .. so she might have to just not bathe at all. I'm almost certain that is what stemmed this. You can't expect a person to go without a bath for a month, that's borderline inhumane.

Alot of thes stars that get in trouble get house arrest .. because jealous people in jail will try to hurt them (if for no other reason than to get their name on the news).

Ya know .. we make these people who they are. If we dind't idolize them so much, and the media didn't stick cameras in their faces every 2 seconds .. they might not act like they are God's gift to the world. We give themthe confidence to feel that way lol.

I feel kinda sorry for stars .. nothing they do is ever private, people are always following them around .. that would drive me nuts.

From what I read, she was kept in a separate part of the prison away from the other inmates, and didn't have a roommate. So I said it would've been pretty fair for her to stay in jail. So personally, I think the house arrest is, in fact, BS.

They said on the news that she was in a cell alone .. but the bathing facilities are communal .. and tha they did not feel they would be able to protect her .. and that she might have to forgo bathing for her duration for her own protection.

I don't see what the big deal is. So what, she got a DUI. I know plenty of people who have gotten them (and some that should have) and their friends/family members have gotten them out by either knowing a cop, a judge, or their lawyer knowing the judge.

It's no different. I dont' particularly care for Paris .. but I think people are being a little over the top with this whole thing. I dont' see the news broadcasting every person who's had 3 DUI's previously on the news. Leave the chik alone for god's sake. She fucks up no worse than the rest of the world .. she just has people following her everywhere unlike the rest of us.

yeah true enough, but her getting off easy is just going to striaght to that big ego of hers. knowing the the laws apply to her, but can be bent cuz shes "special" probably feels pretty good. I feel bad for famous people because they are hounded 24/7 for all there wrong doings and history. :mad But i hate the stuck up attitude that they all seem to develop. this is similar to Lindsy Lohan being able to leave rehab numerous times when nobody else can.

by the way SRC is sexy

You can leave rehab anytime you want .. unless it's court ordered. Rehab is purely voluntary until an order is handed down by a judge.

We give them the attitudes that they have .. by buying the media that hounds them. They feel important, popular, loved. It would give anyone a big head.

I could care less what they do, or how they act. It's no different than the lady standing next to me in line at Walmart that looks like she is about to die because she's in there. People are snooty .. who cares.

I don't feel sorry for the stars that were put in jail...they're human beings and know right from wrong.

I can see what the big deal is, and I don't know anyone who has gotten let off from a dui.

My son's father has gotten off several. His mother has a lawyer that is friends with several judges ... he's paid fines everytime.

And I have several friends that have cop friends that have gotten off too. D you think many cops relatives go to jail for DUIs?

I dont' feel sorry for anyone who does soemthing and gets caught .. what I find funny is how big of a deal people make about stuff like this. People get DUIs everyday .. you don't see it on the Early news or them talking about it on CNN either tho.

I almost threw up when I heard about that. Proof positive that money does indeed make the world go 'round. If it had been an ordinary citizen in that jail and was refusing to eat or sleep and crying all the time they would have sent them to a mental hospital and doped them up and stuck a feeding tube down their throats and told them to suck it up. I will be blunt.... I hate that stupid bitch! And I NEVER use that word!

shit id pay money to be under house arrest in a house like the one she lives in! thats like a 5star resort..

Exactly. They're not punishing her if they just let her stay in her house. They were only gonna make her stay in there for 23 days if she was good, so she should've just stayed in there and sucked it up. And that medical condition is BS too, if it wasn't they would've told us what it is.
