Paper Towels

What brand do you use and have you noticed anything weird with them?

I'm sure mine are Bounty, and when I was sick, Matt kept mentioning this popcorn type smell. I started being able to breathe through my nose and he got stuffed up so when I decided it was the paper towels, he couldn't smell it and he still thinks I'm making it up. But they REEK! Oh my gosh. My paper towels STINK like some sort of popcorn type thing. And I bought a huge pack, so I have forever to go until they're gone.

I buy Shades. I'm not into paying through the nose for a brand name of something you're just going to cover in shit and flush away but the real cheapy ones work out more expensive as they are so flimsy, you need to use about 10 times as much of them.

Brand varies, I try to get the made out recycled stuff or "we plant a billion trees for every one we take" types.

Maybe they aren't Bounty? I don't know. I just got them 'cause I had coupon for them and they wound up being the cheapest because of it, even over generics.

I like the select-a-size as sometimes I only need a little bit. I'm so used to them now that when I buy the regular rolls I feel like I'm wasting.

Mine don't smell like popcorn either.

I use the cheap ones. I think they're just called 'Decorative Towels'. Maybe your store had them next to popcorn in storage.

I use Bounty or Viva brands. Viva i like the most as it's very soft and you can even like rinse it after cleaning up a spill to re-use for same cleaning till it gets worn out. Just that Viva is much more pricey. Never experienced having anything with a smell tho'

I guess, you'll have to double up cleaning more around the house etc to hasten consumption

I've actually started avoiding the paper towels and using whatever alternative I can come up with. Maybe I ought to just trash them.
