My dad said they told him the tissue is "dying", I wasn't there so I can't be sure, but I think that's what's happening. She had the surgery a bit over two weeks ago.

normal healing process should have made her develop scarring tissues by now :humm:

'Dying' : if it had only been 2 weeks, that's way too fast for a colostomy site to do that. Even if she doesn't have good enough circulation to perfuse it, there would have been symptoms like changing color of the tissues etc which should have been seen by the visiting nurse eh. Hoping the surgical team finds out what the problem is. Good luck.

I'm not going to go into detail because a lot of the stuff you told me was in confidence, but I'll say this, your Mom makes me want to smother her with a pillow, and it has little to do with her medical issues. She's just not a good person, I feel for you.

Caramel Macchitos (Sp) are yummy IMO.. They are like a latte.. but instead of the two shots of espresso in first they go in last and then caramel drizzle on the top.... If you like coffee they are yummy if you don't... they probably would suck

The nurse only came once, we had no idea we were getting one lol my mom didn't mention it.

My dad and I say it all the time, NONE of what she does has anything to do with the health decline, because she did them before, just different ways! It's so hard, you want to have sympathy and not be a monster, but she's not a person one should have much for :s

I like coffee, juz can't drink too much of. Espresso may be too much for me ( I'll have a terrible headache)
