So I rearranged furniture this morning and stubbed my big toe on a sectional couch and bent the nail back and I can see the blood pooling underneath. It doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it sound but it is a minor annoyance. :mad

That sucks man, I've been there. Can you remove the nail? If so, I would, and then I'd clean, and wrap it. It won't feel really good, but it will help the nail grow back better.

No, I really don't think so, the nail is still attached and I'd rather not make the pain any worse. I think I'll just clean it and wrap it.

Heat a largish needle red hot and poke it through to let the blood out. Keeps it from turning black and won't hurt as long as it will now.

NoDak is right...it DOES work. Ain't the most pleasant feeling in the world, mind you, but the pain doesn't last nearly as long as when you let it fester underneath there.
