Well, I appear to have a situation on my hands so I thought I'd come to the jury for some opinions. GoldDust Woman has indicated to me that she'd like to vote off HK, which would leave GDW and Siphorous in the final. Siphorous says that if that happens he will quit the game because he feels that GDW has played dishonorably. I would like to know the jury's feelings on the matter.
My opinion is that the game is over as far as the contestants are concerned. Honestly, whether they "stay" in the game is pretty irrelevant right now as their is no more participation on their part. Let GDW cast her vote however she feels. Then let the jury cast theirs. If she wins, so be it. If the other person does, so be it. If it were to be Siph and he were to not feel right accepting the winning tokens, he is free to donate them as he pleases.
(However, he may NOT give them to Red Ryder.

I am slightly disappointed at this situation, though. I think the whole point at the jury phase is to let US decide what has been honorable and what has not. It would be a shame after all these weeks of playing for someone to deprive the rest of us of our last chance to play the game the way it was intended.

That was one of the options I was considering. To just have Siph and GDW in the final Tribal Council and if Siph refused to answer the questions directed at him then that was his perogative. It would kind of defeat the purpose of the jury and take a lot of the fun out of it but obviously I can't force anyone to do anything.

I am sorry. I find the whole situation funny. The very end of survivor is not the time to take the high and mighty route. That would have been much better suited at the beginning or even towards the middle before the game got serious. And if GDW is really that dishonorable, why not stay in the game and try to take the tokenz from her? That would sure show her...or something like that. Then he could donate them as he pleases. Wouldn't it be honorable to fund photo contests, fantasy leagues, and the like?
As far as dishonorability (I think I just made up that word....go me!) goes, I think all of us had to vote for someone or did something that we didn't necessarily want to do at the time. It is part of the GAME! That is right...it is a game. In fact...at this point I think GDW is the smartest of us all. She played a good game. And can you blame the girl for doing a bit of backstabbing? She has had the loan shark after her ass the whole game

Funny thing is, USF Sam wanted Siph gone long ago, I did not. Through my social game, and being honest with Siph, I kept him safe.
I made no promise to HK, other than to give her my jury vote if I became part of the jury, and, to split the winnings if I won.

I'm not airing any details until the jury ask me questions - IF i'm chosen to be kept in. That or after the game is over. Public airing of things will only colour the jury's views.
