Siph and I didn't have an alliance. We just agreed to watch each other's back on the Spartan tribe, up to the merge... :nod:

How is that not an alliance? "Watching each other's backs" is just another way of saying it.

Well, it's like I told Siph when I first asked him if he'd like to play. He expressed reservations about it being a cutthroat game and I responded by saying that it didn't have to be cutthroat. The game is what the players make it. Same sentiment for the final two. It didn't have to be as dramatic as it was but that's what they made it.

It's like I told zirc last night... it's all about perception, Siph. I considered my "alliance" with Maulds and Tang as a promise. I said "final two" with those guys. I broke that promise to both of them. You and I never made any such promise - we never said "final two".

You want to post like you're spotless and played a clean game, when the truth be known, you're the one who wanted the guys out. You said, you wanted to be the last man standing! But, the way you've "spun" your posts, you're just a poor little victim who got kept in the game against your will.

This is my last post. Survivor players never have open conversation after the jury questions, until after the vote. That's for me- no more posts. You, however, can feel free to say whatever else you want to... Mr. Gotta Have The Last Word.

The results are in! Siphorous received votes from Maulds, HK and Tangerine. GoldDust Woman received votes from Boomerang and hart. Congrats to Siph for winning! :thumbup

Tangerine was the only member of the jury who gave a reason for his vote. He had this to say: "It's difficult because I absolutely do not want to vote for either of you. But Siph does not want to win, and GDW desperately does. This vote is the only way I can ensure that neither of you get what you want."

Maulds said he had a reason but didn't want to share it. He did have this to say though: "Since they can't both lose I'm having a hard time deciding. Reward the person who promised never to vote against you then did or the person you had no contact with whatsoever during the game?"

So there you have it. IMO, GoldDust Woman played this game to a tee and probably should have won. It seems she had a few too many grudges held against her. It's not the first time the coat-tail rider has won a game of Survivor and it probably won't be the last. Thanks to everyone for playing! It was an adventure, to say the least.

I had insider info from a few people throughout the game but I was by no means privvy to all the behind-the-scenes stuff. So, who wants to share?

GDW won my coin toss. Congrats on the win Siph.

I don't really have any inside details to share. I never became part of any alliance or anything. The only person I had much contact with was Maulds. I had the occasional pm's with Tang as well. I think I upset Siph with my "Man up. It is just a game" pm. In fact, that could have been what caused my demise.

It was a good game. Too much drama though. I felt like people took it way too seriously. I had a good time with it and still love all the players involved as much as I did before it started. It is definitely not something worth holding a grudge over.

It means you can lie, cheat, and steal your way to victory, or those things could come back to bite you in the ass if you pissed too many people off in the process. It's not a personal indictment on anyone as near as I can tell, just how the game was played.

If I'm wrong and people are just still playing, then I feel dumb right now. :24:

It means you can lie, cheat, and steal your way to victory, or those things could come back to bite you in the ass if you pissed too many people off in the process. If the pm's I've gotten in the last week are any indication then I think the two finalists took this way too seriously. Unless they were both trying to play me as well, in which case I'll feel as dumb as you. I don't see the point in trying to play the host though.
