here's the not so fun side of this fun post:

specialized said he was going to make banners for the winners. and how would the other's who didnt win feel?

oh wait, popularity contest. "make me feel better because more people like me more than them"...

i dont see what the dealio was. i just made a post about hating popularity contests, since that is what i saw this as. i deemed it a legitmate response (thanks silent, btw) but i did not intend it to start a 10 post response. i just wanted to state how i felt about it, and was hoping it was implied that no one could come to me, asking who i voted for.

in other words,
hates popularity contests.

I think it's a good idea, it's just a bit of fun ffs! Personally I enjoy just about everyones posts on here, I haven't had any serious disagreements with anyone but obviously there are people whose posts I enjoy more than others, it's just a personality thing and not an affrontage to anyone.

for crying out loud, is this middle school? Is everyone worried that their feelings will get hurt if they don't get voted for? I don't get it. Specialized was merely trying to make a fun thread, which he has pointed out numerous times, and every seems to be all worked up that they will hurt someones feelings or get theirs hurt. Most of us here are adults, I thought for sure we were all past the point in our life where it bothered us if someone didn't think we were the best. Relax people.
