HA! Mac better? HA!

I use Windows 7 and Ubuntu 9.10 from one computer
using dual boot.

I remember last year or something near April Fool's there was this worm that was causing a lot of problems...and it said Macs were immune to it....

nice i like the 3d cube desktop thingy its quite cool but i dunno if i would have it on my computer
Even if you don't use that feature as default Linux comes with multiple desktops. It is a great feature which I used to download freeware apps for under windows. In win98 I had a small tiny less than 100K program which ran in systray and I could assign how many virtual desktops I wanted. It is great for windows managent if you h ave to have multiple copies of windows of each apps you have to have open and you don't want them all cluttered.

And btw, you should look into making a bootable LIVE usb linux. It's a great for many reasons but I would say one thing is let's say your computer's windows crapped out and you can't boot but you need to get on the internet and such and you can't wait for windows to get fixed, well with the LIVE linux usb, you can boot to a working Linux desktop straight from a USB flash drive and browse internet with firefox, work on your documents with openoffice, watch porn with mplayer. (or vlc) I prefer vlc. You just need a 1 Gig flash drive for a regular distro. You can use Ubuntu, Fedora, PCLinuxOS, Mint, ..... Lots have LiveUSB installer.

If your computer, came with Vista, you should contact your manufacturer or search help for the free upgrade to 7 (if it still is being honored)

I'm dual booting win7 and ubuntu 8.10 but, to be honest with you, in a way you can live without the full install of Ubuntu in the hard drive. There are windowsPE, a small tiny bootable windows on usb to allow you to rescue your system, which I do also recommend but those don't ever really work as a full desktop. Linux however does. So even if you only use the Ubuntu from USB, it is full functional and you'll be able to do your normal regular dealies. and the live USB isn't hardware specific so you can boot it from any computer that can boot from USB and it will keep working with proper video, and most of the time even the wireless working. So even if your whole entire computer craps out, you can just plug it in to your friend's computer and boot to your usb and have all your private data and settings saved in the USB.

and it only takes 1 min to make it if you already have the the ISO.

just use
Linux Live USB Creator : Powerful and easy Live USB Creator

another note. I made that video while booted to a USB flash drive running that 3D desktop
