I have developed a serious interest in the subject of writing, so I decided to check out a forum aimed at writers. I joined “Writer’s Dock”, and posted a gritty short story in which the word “fuck” appeared twice. I use this expletive sparingly at the best of times, but in this particular instance I included it because in my opinion the piece warranted its use. Right, so my story appeared on the forum, and within minutes the word 'fuck' had been deleted and I was banned for using 'vulgar language.' :eek

Well, there is only one thing to do in circumstances like these, so my new buddies said hello to my proxy server.

I rejoined under a different name, and my first post was this:

“Reading through the latest post, I noticed that a particular four letter expletive has been removed. This prompted me to think that Rose Woods is working for Writers Dock, (which, by the way, rhymes with “cock”). Students of modern history will recall that Rose Woods was the secretary who “expletive deleted” the rude words used by Richard Nixon when she transcribed the Watergate Tapes. Now I fully understand this forum’s reluctance to use this particular word, (for those of you interested it began with an “f” and ended with a “k” And in between were the letters, “uc,” you see). Hypersensiti*ve people may be reading these posts and a word such as this may cause them profound psychologica*l damage. They may even be rendered catatonic, heaven forbid. On the other hand it may stir up lewd and lascivious thoughts in the br*asts of those readers unable to control their primeval urges. And we wouldn’t want that, would we? So in future I shall replace the word with the German version which is “fick.” So, whenever you see the word “fick,” you’ll know I mean the word...well, you know the word I mean.”

Well, fuck me! Before you could say Jack-in-a-box the feckers, fucking fecked me!

Again. :24:
