Digital platforms and games connect people globally. Do you feel online friendships are as deep as offline ones? Have you had online friends transition into real-life relationships?

I work online and I have a lot of online friends, online friends can be as valuable as your offline friends. I2 the last 12 years I have met so many good friends online

I think online friendships can be just as deep as offline ones when there’s genuine communication and trust. I’ve had a few online friends become real-life friends, and meeting them felt natural. Shared interests make the bond stronger, even before meeting in person.

In my opinion online friendship is not as deep as offline friendship because online friends may hide their identity just to dupe a person. There are lots of scams and such people on the net. You have to meet an online friend to conclude it.

I have had many great online friends and very horrible offline friends and vice versa. I was scammed by an online girlfriend who claimed to marry me. It was a really horrible time for me and its effects are still on my mind.

I have had online relationships that turned out to be great friendships online. I have two people that I would say I am very close to in this life and I met one of them online and we connected in an instant.
