I was told at work the other day that I get emotional when I'm passionate about something. I already knew this but I am not really sure how to control it. If we have a meeting and something comes up that I disagree or agree with I'm sometimes a little bit exaggerated.

I've tried counting to 5 or 10 before I respond but that doesn't really help, and taking a deep breath works me yo even more haha.

Do you have any tips for a crazy person? I have Italian and Jewish blood so I have a bit of an unfair advantage.

Well at least you are not afraid to speak up...sure beats being emotional later as you didn't speak up at a meeting.
As long as you arent taking the direction of the meeting away from the person holding the meeting I wouldn't worry about.
The speaker may be intending to change direction and your being vocal on an issue may prevent such from happening...but as long as that is not occurring then I wouldnt worry about it.
And remember they write the checks..so they can be right even if they are wrong lol.
