i have no idea what your talking about. we dont have them at our banks. well at least not my bank.

we do have them at convienent stores and other stores tho where we slide our Cards but i think that's about it.

That's right, it replaced signing the receipt in...2006 i think.

As to data privacy, if anyone got hold of your signature or any personnal details then your safe, fraudsters however know what they want and go looking for what they want not stumble accross things

Only reason I hate them is because I still can't figure out how to sign my name on them. My signature looks completely different when I write on paper vs one of those pads.

Mine is 21 as well. I just sign Shey and my last name. My last name I even cut out a couple letters lol.

as for useless technology i would go as far as to say the televisions they put in the front of cars, tiny little flat screens so you can watch your favorite show and drive at the same time, everything about that is an accident waiting to happen.
