Ok think about it Dana! It's that way so they don't have tons of sheets with signatures all over and then have to toss em out and risk people getting your signature...lord knows what can happen if someone gets that or any other info.

That makes sense now lol

As to data privacy, if anyone got hold of your signature or any personnal details then your safe, fraudsters however know what they want and go looking for what they want not stumble accross things

What Dana describes...it's cost cutting as much as a security measure.
Yes, it is cost cutting... it may not be much but we as customers benefit from it.

LOL yea but I was aruing the worthless part.
I'm with you on this homo (lol) it is not useless AT ALL! it is a great technology advancement.
Think about what a waste it is to use paper, even if it is recycled paper every time you have to sign anything... and the waste that it sooner or later becomes.

Having had what Shey just described happen to me TWICE, I can assure you it is not worthless at all.

I think they need to refine the technology. Maybe they could make it like a computer drawing tablet?

Thumbprint is nowhere near as foolproof as people are led to believe, iris scan however. though the techology is far to premature to be released full scale. I do totaly agree, biometrics is the way forwards
