OMG! I Caught a Butterfly!!!

This is the 1st time I have been able to catch a butterfly with my camera! They aren't the greatest pictures cuz it's windy out but I caught a butterfly!!!

I had to lean over the mailboxes to get the pics! LOL! It opened it's wings just for a second and I can't believe I got that shot even though it is a little blurry. He was swinging away on that flower! :willy_nilly:

I was shocked that I was even able to get close to him! Actually that was the 2nd time I went outside to take pics of him cuz my batteries dies in my camera and it froze up on me. I wasn't planning on really seeing anything worth taking pictures of. When I went out the 2nd time he was even closer to the house and I couldn't believe I spotted him. I'm glad that I had to replace my batteries cuz the 1st shots were crap compared to these! And yeah I think it's a Monarch. Thanks Sky!

Thanks siph. Those are mine too but if the 1st one hadn't come out blurry and if he was centered in all the way I would have loved that shot too. I still can't believe that my camera was able to get him with his wings spread wide open while he was swinging from that flower!
