Awwww, I just cried a little bit watching that. I don't know...maybe Gene puts on for the cameras and, in reality, he's a dick but when I watch the show I always think that he just seems like SUCH a genuine good guy. I hope it doesn't ruin their relationship...sometimes people are together that long and it works for them not being married and then, when they do, their relationship just does downhill.

I saw him on The Talk or The View or whatever one day. He said he's never done drugs, didn't do the whole groupie thing, and rarely, if ever drinks. It seemed genuine and he seems to be a good guy with good morals.

I've never seen their show though.

well, the "sleeping" with was before Shannon and he claimed it was in the thousands (I think it was less) but he has been loyal to her, she was just sick of the "treating me like a girlfriend" and she had every right to say this and she still stuck by him because she probably had the strings on him. if he wanted to break her heart and really stomp on it he could have if he really wanted to, but it is obvious he is so in love with her....

I thought so... I could be misremembering, and PJ could be right- it might have been since they got together.

I had to google it. Apparently he was asked if he had ever made love to another woman while w/ Shannon and he said no...he passed. He said he slept w/ thousands of women BEFORE Shannon and, again, he passed. So technically he DID do the groupie thing...unless I'm way far behind in typical "people I've slept with" numbers, LOL

Yeah. He has said that for years. He kicked Ace out of the band because he was doing too much partying IIRC.
