So who else will be watching it then? I'm personally looking forward to lots of hot summer nights watching it and most likely getting pissed. What are you looking forward to most? I'm looking forward to Paula Radcliffe hopefully putting the demons behind her in the marathon, seeing that young British kid in the diving and also those two awesome Jamaican sprinters, also looking forward to watching a couple of Harlow boys in it. There's Peter Cousins in the Judo who is one of the red hot favorites to take gold, his brother is an occasional drinking buddy of mine. Also Acer Nethercott in the rowing, he was the cox on 3 Oxford victories in the boat race in recent years. Any local people from where you live competing?

A girl that graduated from Ole Miss this past May is competing in long jump. I'm so excited to see her at the freakin' Olympics!!! That's just plain awesome!

I dont een know the time difference but thelast olympics I spent a lot of late late evenings watching the soccer matches, which is what I am especially looking forward to.

The rowing and footy, is likely something I MIGHT watch. I'm not really into the whole Olympics thing this year because of where its being held. I will however enjoy the moans about the smog such as yesterdays news reported...looks crazy...i hate to be doing a sport in that pollution.

Hmmmm I was watching a special on the Olympics... and here's what I learned. The Chinese value the number 8 as being the luckiest number which is why they picked today 08-08-08 to begin (and I thought it was because it was my birthday... hmmmph!). The open ceremonies will begin at 8:08 on the dot as well....

I love watching gymnastics, swimming, diving, and soccer (football). Other than those particulars, I watch whatever happens to be on and root for team USA!
