I went outside to cover up our Staghorn fern cuz it's gonna freeze tonight and a wolfie spider sneaked inside. I heard PBBB scream which brought Roxi & Addy & PS out to look.

While the girls were freaking out, I went to get the flyswatter while mumbling about 'girls' and then PS lifted the picture it was hiding behind off the wall and I slapped it to the wall. It must have just eaten or something cuz it's guts splattered everywhere. Including my face & my hair.yuk I too screamed like a girl, grabbed PS for a second of centering and then ran off to the shower... Yep, I too am a girl.... But at least I killed it's ass dead....:rockon:

Eurgh, I am not a spider-friendly person! I put glasses over them and then run away, if I can even manage that.

We generally try to catch & release. I have a large-mouthed plastic cup just for that. Cup em and slide a paper plate under it to trap em and outside they go. This one was too high on the wall on a wall w/a bookcase full of stuff. Too much work - SLAP! Done.

hehehehehehehehe...... PBBB, MsButterfly & myself trapped the biggest one I have seen in the house a few years ago. It was on the cabinet door under the sink. That sucker was bigger than the opening of the cup. But between using the flashlight on it to blind it and it being quite old, we all managed to catch & release it and then have a good case of the shudders afterwards... I was proud of all of us for not freaking completely out. I swear that one was as big as my hand w/my fingers spread out... *shudders again*

I hear tell of a HUGE one that lives in our shed. Only PS & StickBoy have seen it cuz I don't go in there.
