You guys do realize that Amanda actually does this for a living, right? You do realize that she has orders from a boss and also has a team that she needs to keep together in many online forums, right? Half the people here are Moderators at M/F including Joe and Verni. We all had our start there.

Veronica is in the same position as Amanda right now. When this place has eleventy hundred members, she will have to be Amanda.......errrr Alice ....errrr Mean lady, LOL.
 
I understand she has to do things to keep the vendors happy and what not but she also should try to keep the members happy as well...no...I think MF has taken a big plunge...I still go there to get info on cars and what not but the place doesn't have the same snazz that it use to...she has tightened the leesh to point where I don't think its as fun as it use to be...and a few times that amanda posted it was just things that bumbed me out and prolly other members...I can't speak for everyone but I use to have a lot of fun over there and never got completely out of line or really started any trouble...but I got threats from amanda that she was going to ban me for talking too much... :wtf is that....I helped a few people out with the limited knowledge I have and if I couldn't answer a question I pointed them in the right direction to someone who could answer them with good advice...I dunno...things changed for the worse in my opinion...
 
Well, the thing is B, she's not an idiot and can see what's going on. Your right, you have never been a bad person there, But just like you said, "you went there for info on cars" . M/F is a Mustang Forum. But we all met there and I think we all owe the place a little respect. It's really a great place if you think about it.

I'm not saying its a bad place...if it wasn't for MF a lot of us would never of met and become the good friends I think a lot of us have become...I just think its changed a lot since I started up there to now...we use to have a lot of fun over there and still do once in a while but its not the same...as the place got more and more strict a lot of the fun members drifted away...I still go and get great info about mustangs in the 5.0 section but don't feel the same excitement when I'm there reading some of the off topics which is where she put her foot down I think the hardest...but I can't change anything...I was mad though when she went after me...I felt shitted on
 
I'll tell you when M/F lost it's fun is when they took away the post count in off topic there. I don't care about it much, but it freaked everyone out. I don't know if that's why, but it was around that time. I hope we all stay together. It's odd but I think we all came together for a reason. :wtf
 
I think your right about the post count thing booze...it really did matter to some people....I'm not going to lie I was kind of mad when I wen from close to 6000 posts to 800 and got knocked out of the top 10 but I understood why she did...so I didn't hold a grudge and still came back but like you said it started going down hill from there
 
IMO, MF has definitly gone down hill. It certainly isn't as fun as it used to be. I think the backward-ass logic is completely fucked up and is one reason why a lot of people have left. (offtopicz had a little something to do with it as well) I will spend less and less time on MF as time goes by. The bottom line is that MF is going the WRONG DIRECTION. Until MF starts going in the right direction, I will go there less and less. -And recommend it less and less to others I meet with stangs. I personally don't have anything against Amanda, but I do have issues with her logic skills. I would have to say that Amanda has hurt MF more than helping it. -Too bad, it WAS a great site.[/i]
