Pretty simple

What cologne do you like men to have on.

I was gonna splurge and did a search and Armani's Aqua Di Gio seemed to be up there on the list.

I don't like it

Any ideas. I know what I like to smell on a woman but what do women like??

I don't have a SO but one of my male friends wears some kind of cologne that smells amazing. Not sure what kind it is, sorry. Axe, maybe?

If it smells good, I like it but I agree, smelling clean is fundamental. I can't stand BO. :yuk

No amount of cologne is going to cover BO on a man or tuna on a woman.

Public health service notice. Everybody wash your folds!!! :D

I don't want something overwhelming. I probably used to douse myself in crap 30 years ago and I know that is wrong.

Just a drop to drown out the deodorant so to speak

I do wash regularly. If I don't take a shower a day I feel filthy.

There is nothing more revolting than kids who drown themselves in that AXE garbage. It reminds me of old farts who bathe in Old Spice. Neither of these two products mixes well with BO.

On the rare occasion I wear any sort of scent, it would be Polo or Cool Water, and then only a dab of it, after having BATHED.

Then Curve is your choice. I think it's pretty subtle and it smells OH so good.

I love Polo! And Tommy is nice too, but I haven't smelled it in forever, so I can't remember what "age group" it hits, if that makes any sense.

Oh, I agree! Dousing oneself in cologne is nastiness. My friend doesn't douse himself, just a little. Now that I'm thinking about it more, I think it IS Axe. A little bit of that stuff is quite lovely.

So we have the following suggestions:

Curve

Polo

Tommy?? Hilfinger??? ????

I feel like a tool going to a place to smell this shit. And then what I like might be totally crap.

ugh

I can't go in department stores' cologne departments for any length of time. Gives me a headache for hours if I do.

Make sure when you go, that you actually try it on your skin. Colognes smell different on different people because of the reaction with your own body chemistry. A lot of the colognes should have a lotion alternative, so you can put a couple dabs on your arms and/or hands and walk around the mall smelling them. It's expensive stuff. You should be sure.

And yes, Tommy Hilfiger.

OH! And ask if they have coffee beans behind the counter. It cleanses your nasal "palate" and lets you smell each new fragrance without interference from the previous.

In the end, you ought to like it too. I choose my cologne based on what I like. I don't care if other's don't like how I smell. I like how I smell and that's what counts. :D

Maybe that's why guys don't like me. :willy_nilly:
