Oil hits 100$ a barrell

like jeremy was getting at. when gas/fuel goes up in price. the cost of everything goes up. Delivery charges will go up. the cost of manufacturing ect. and because fuel prices goes up who gets stuck paying more for the merchandise. the Consumers. So all in all we get f*c*ed more then once

I know alot of guys that own their trucks.. and they are going bankrupt. Most are selling out. I run over a $1,400 a week fuel bill myself. Its getting outrageous! Alot of us are getting pissed and action is just around the corner. Just wait till the country wide trucker shut down... It won't be 100% of us.. but enought to royaly eff everything up. Hide and see...

Is there a lot of talk about this over the airways? Do you see a stoppage anytime soon?


When they were talking about oil hitting $100 a barrel today, they were talking to an expert who said that with the current supply and demand we have today, Oil is only worth $65 a barrel, the rest of the $100 is nothing more than the hedge funds pushing it that high....
So basically they are just getting rich on our backs again... And doesn't it bother anyone that Iran is taking our money and laughing in our faces? He LOVES the fact that oil is $100 a barrel. We aren't getting any more for the higher price and it's not costing him any more to pump it out of the ground... just nothing but pure profit.

Do you realize that before the Iraq war started, Oil was only $26 a barrel... that in 2007 alone oil has gone up 60%

I here you Reds, I'm sick of it too.....
 
Talks of it everywhere. Talking about a big shut down for '08. It just needs to be organized. We need a damn good leader on our side... someone with a little pull and some good legal skills. We're all the muscle they need.. just need someone to organize us.

I don't know if anybody has caught wind of this but I fully support this and YES I am going to be part of it! There is a trucker strike scheduled for Jan 3-8 and it is all about high fuel prices and low freight rates. Even company drivers can join in this effort to help make trucking profitable again. You don't have to strike,even just slow down to the minimum posted speed limit will make an impact to make our point. Here is a link with information about it:
