legality is defined two ways: 1) from area to area with differences in what is a crime and what is not (the legal laws of legality) and 2) universal and defined as a self-interest pursuit that is detrimental to society (the social laws of legality
sociologists have the better definition. kind of like prostitution and drugs legalization in the netherlands, but not here. if alcohol is detrimental to society, it should be contraband like marijuana, but the law makers are too tied up with other issues to lower the drinking age or aboloshi alcohol. plus, alcohol is a major source of our gov't's revenue.
if you want to be able to drink at a younger age, you can become a politician and vote on the issue, but chances are, you won't care deeply about the issue once you are of drinking age.
so until then, i will party hard and turn up my beer
