omg, i so tried those to, horrible aren't they.
nah, it's a capitol T shaped piece of plastic that has copper on the arms. it sits inside the uterus at the base of the cervix.
are they cheap? and they really do NOTHING to your hormones?? hmm
Curious, did it hurt when they put the IUD in place?
Hmmm On one hand i want them but on the other, I don't know if i want to suffer the consequences later on in life if there is any....
My wife would kill for some of these - she is so over menstruating that she is praying for menopause.

nothing to yer hormones. my insurance covered mine but i know at the time (9 years ago) they were about $250. my friend was gonna get one through planned parenthood last year and i think it was gonna cost around $350.
not really painful.... more uncomfortable. they have to dialate your cervix and after they place it you cramp pretty bad for a few days.
