FiOS is fiber optic cable. It's buried. It doesn't go out in rainstorms. It won't cut out for no apparent reason.

FiOS is cheaper. With Verizon I could get a home phone, tv and internet for 105 a month set price, not going up.

Ah, I'm with ya now.
I barely get phone service so I damn sure won't let 'em
screw with my TV, no body jacks with MY TV. :lol

Direct TV does that if there is interference up in the sky. There could be a storm up in the atmosphere. If the waves get blocked .. it'll have to search for more.
