I always prefer my hair when I've styled it myself.

Really? UGH I am terrible at working with my hair, and I admit it. I usually play around with different brushes and my blow dryer, and then inevitably get fed up and just grab a straightener LOL.

Christ I can't even manage different brushes! Either I blow dry it straight, or if I'm feeling adventurous I blow dry it with my head tipped over so it goes all huge and volume-y


I have a pair of straighteners, but my boyfriend uses them more than I do

Maybe I'm just blow-dryer-retarded or something, but I've never been able to blow-dry my hair straight. It tends to just bounce back up with a wave, or the edges start curling up as they get completely dry.

Ah to be fair, it's almost entirely straight but I do curl the edges under slightly. My hair is very straight anyway, and the longer it gets the straighter it wants to be.
