i think people just use that anti christ thing when they hate someone.
with so many things out there that really deserve such anger and people want to waste it on people who will know or care how much they arent liked by so and so.
and lets not forget the past 8 years of "bush is like hitler" and all the nazi comments and comparisons...

I agree. I think that people just get bored and need something to occupy their time with that will make them feel as if they are accomplishing something. Hating a very popular person always seems to be the winner.
don't blame the average American Citizen. That whole thing about the "I voted Obama," which I did NOT, is a common misconception. The vote that was taken from the average CITIZEN of America was the Popular Vote (you know, like in American high school). The Electoral College is what actually "VOTES" for the American President. Google it. :horse

The whole electoral college thing bothers me sometimes because it just makes me feel like my vote really doesn't matter in the long run.

i care too much about Democracy, but this place is getting ridiculous! You have Dem's promising to change things "just like that" (things which need the approval of Congress), and Republicans that are becoming Dem's and the other half are creating drama like daytime television. Arlen Specter had been a Dem from 51-65, Rep from 66-09, and right back to Dem because "he doesn't want to lose his office." Nice Arlen, real nice... :ninja

it never made sense to me that some people were just so hateful towards the guy. yeah he did a lot of stupid stuff and did stuff i didnt like or agree with but i dont think he was worth my time or energy to bash insult make fun of and otherwise spew venom for 8 years about him.
funny thing those who did for the past 8 years are suddenly getting their thongs in a knot when its being done to obama.
