Radical leftest??? :24::24::24: You obvious haven't come across many real Socialists!
I can only speak from the view here

For our policies he is a radical

I sure as hell don't want to get what some have in Europe

Sometimes I think you guys are jealous because we have not sunk into that abyss that some of Europe has.

Ok, whatever you think. You Republicans sure seem to want your country to sink to low depths the way you keep attacking your president for any little thing though. I dont like my Prime minister but wanting him to fail, no thanks! I dont want my country to get even worse!

You do realize that it was the previous 2 administrations that cause our current economic crisis. I don't see anyone putting Bush's name on the back of a truck and proclaiming him to be a mistake or anything.
See... This is what I think is hilarious. I don't like Bush and most of America hated Bush but you never saw shit like the back of a pick up during the Bush administration... Maybe rednecks weren't smart enough to acronym-o-nize B.U.S.H.

I ditched the republicans quite a while back

I am a Libertarian

When the republicans ditch the religious right and their family values bull shit I would return.

So you are saying we should be good little sheep and just bend over and take it up the ass quietly?

It is not a matter of wanting failure. I want to see us recover. Not gonna happen by throwing good money after bad which is what he is doing though. That is stating an opinion and not attacking. IMO

How is he "throwing good money after bad"? What do you suggest he does otherwise, seeing as you seem to know better. He wasn't the one that got everyone in this mess, and he definitely isn't making it any worse.

Way to go exagerating, I never said anything of the kind. I simply pointed out the ridiculous things Americans who dont support Obama attack him for. He was born in Kenya, apparently, he's a Muslim, his name sounds like Osama so he must support terrorists ect ect, it's like they want him to fail, even though it will make things worse for them and their country, very patriotic!
As for real issues, like the economy, I personally would give his policity a chance before ridiculing it.

don't believe I ever commented about the first part you mention.

As to his economic policies why should I want to give them a chance? Why should I keep quiet. I think they are abysmal and similar attempts on a smaller scale on furthered the length of the depression. Throwing money at things like the stimulus did is absurd. Increasing the debt at the stroke of a pen by 10% is absurd. Increasing the current debt by the end of his term by 30% is beyond absurd. This is just throwing gas on a fire. It is the equivalent of a kid from the ghetto with no education buying a Rolls Royce using fake ID so he can drive up to a job interview with Warren Buffett to attempt to be COO of Berkshire Hathaway.

History is on my side on this one ;)

And history shows that lowering tax on the wealthy does not bring about economic growth. Trickle down has never worked.

When were the most prosperous years in this country? 40's, 50's 60's??? You do realize that the top tax bracket at that time was as high as 93% right? That's 93% of your income going to good old uncle sam. And you guys think Obama is a socialist for letting Bush's tax cut run out? Hell, that's only another 3% burden to the top bracket. I guess we were under full blown communist rule back when the tax rate was 93% :24:

you know that 93% is bull shit Tim

That is being disingenuous isn't it?

The rate was there but the write offs were so huge it compensated for the majority of the excess tax.

Tax cuts always increased revenue. The problem is that spending always went up at a greater rate.

I think you will find the 90's were probably the most prosperous. The 40's were more of a recovery were they not. With the 50's a continuation. Then as I recall in the early 60's things took a downturn and JFK cut taxes to get things moving.

I am not against letting the Bush tax cut expire. My problem is the plans to eliminate tax write offs to charity and house mortgage deductions for the rich. Sounds great as long as one wants to kill the economy further. You eliminate those write offs and charities will suffer because even the rich watch their spending.

....We NEED labels. I don't know how many times I've reached for the salt only to find out in the nick of time (Via the handy label) that it's actually sugar! The same thing applies here. If I saw a man in a suit, with a suit case and looking rather well groomed I would think "Ahhh! A business man!". If I saw someone with a boomstick, a jug with XXXX and less teeth than a chicken I would think "Ahhh! A hick!".
well, I saw neither a suit nor a boomstick in that picture. Or teeth (or the lack threreof). Or a suit or a chicken...
does the color of the truck matter?

I may be wrong but which one would you guess to have relations with their family members?
be hard to say. :dunno
good people lose teeth all the time ;)

Still 100 times better than McCain. :D

There's no way of proving that, McCain has never been president. That and I think anyone is capable of driving an already weakened economy into the dirt and blaming another party for it, some just aren't willing to do it.

That's where McCain and Obama differ

No need to prove that, common sense. :p
