I agree, humans insert their prejudices into everything they do! But hopefully knowledge mitigates some of those prejudices.

Absolutely agree, but since it takes real strength of character to question & verify a professor's opinion when it's stated as fact, a ton of knowledge goes undiscovered. Can we teach judgment as an academic curriculum?

Bush was never called the Anti-Christ as far as I know. A better question is, should this kind of activity be condoned by any group?

If it is not, I belive it could be taught, but there is no certainty that judgement is a concrete standard that everyone sees in the same way. Judgement has a moral basis which seems to shift over the decades and differs based on the background of those making the judgments.

Obama certainly isn't a liberal, but he is not a socialist either. Being smart enough to realize having wide social bounds inbetween lower and upper classes is bad for a nation; and doing something about it, is not socialist, it's keeping the country from becoming elitist. Rich people call him a socialist because they want to be elite and don't want wealth spread at all--and hicks listen to them because they are undereducated and refuse to develop their own opinion.

Reminds me of the times when lords told serfs the edge of the horizon was the edge of the world, so they wouldn't try to leave the boundries of the manor and create their own lives.

I think that would make it hard to go to any sort of out of state school, because each state would have different standards of education.

Did I say I was a Bush fan? I just find it funny that Obama is not that articulate when trying to talk off the cuff. His teleprompter is a crutch.

Do you read the news? Agree with it or not, he got a health care package passed and is now working on finance reform.
