Hmm, young principled, energetic, smart, top of class at Harvard, chooses to serve, people person, believes in diplomacy over conflict, against pasty old, bottom of his class guy who does not know how many houses his rich wife owns, thinks the economy has done well under Bush (out of touch?), used to be a maverick but became a right wing Republican conformist to run for President, does not know how to turn on a computer and tends to view war as the answer to settling human conflict. :humm: Two points for picking a former 2nd place beauty queen to share the Oval Office with! :thumbup

So you consider intelligence in the style category. :humm:

Obama is an empty suit

full of fancy rhetoric

with no clue how to implement all those fancy ideas.

Yeah he is an empty suit.

I knew some brilliant people growing up. But they could not change a spare tire. So being an educated person from Harvard or wherever means shit to me. This guy talks a good game. But has nothing to support how he intends to pull off this con.

Come on, you support the BIGGEST EMPTY SUIT of the free world following blindly without question and your empty partisan rhetoric is supposed to instill validity in your judgement?

For Obama it can't be I don't like him or I don't like what he stands for. It has to be he's a non-thinking idiot? That's a fringe tactic followed by the character assassination crew. The facts don't support your judgement. You might not like what he does, but he certainly will get things done even if you don't care for what they are.

Where have I said I support the idiot Bush?

As to Obama I never said he was stupid. I just said he is full of bull shit. Big difference ;)

He says all the right things. Kind of like a guy 8 years ago. :D

But once you get into the nuts and bolts of what Obama says it is still ends up bullshit.

If you did not wet your pants in excitement for anything to do with change you might actually realize that. Change for the sake of change is pointless. It boils down to what the change is. And this brilliant orator is not the change we need. He will not handle foreign affairs effectively and his domestic policies are straight out of Carters mantra. Neither worked then and won't now.

again we end up being stuck with who to vote against. and not who to vote for.

I could have actually considered voting for Clinton. But no way I would entrust our country in the hands of Obama. I wanted Ron Paul

You're basing the BS assessment on something. When it comes to employees and corporate greed, I like where Obama is coming from however I'm not maniacal in my support of him as you keep trying to paint me. He's a choice between two politicians and parties. I had enough of the Republican Party as they currently exist. That does not mean I couldn't support them in the future if they get their heads out of their... (do I have to say it?) ;)

Ron Paul, I see he got a huge ovation at a rally somewhere in the Twin Cities. I like where he comes from too. :)

Actually if you are truly interested, Obama's site has page after page of well thought out policies. They cover almost every topic under the sun. Not only do they say what it is he wants to accomplish, they also lay out how he will go about doing them.

To say he is an empty suit is being intellectually dishonest. You can disagree with his points of view or what it is he is trying to accomplish but you can't say he is just talk. There has been a lot of hard work that went into his policies, you can see it in the hundreds of written pages.

I just hope that he follows through once he gets into office. I believe that he will, but you never know with politicians.
