I'm not that much of sporting fanatic but my wife plays a lot of Netball, so I follow that a fair bit.
You guys currently hold the world champs but we are gonna get it back at the Commonwealth games.

I love the competitive jostling that NZ & Aust share. Makes for interesting times & it's great sitting around with a couple of Kiwi mates putting shit on each other.

All friendly of course as we both love it when either of us beats the poms.

Netball is nothing like Volleyball - more like Basketball only the person who has the ball cannot take a step.

They must pass the ball to another team mate within 3 seconds or hand the ball over to the other side.

To make matters a little harder players are confined to certain sections of the court & can't cross over into another section or lose the ball.

They are also not allowed to touch the other players & must stay at least 3 feet away from the player with the ball.

All that sudden stopping with the ball makes it very hard on the knees & ankles. It's pretty much a chicks game but there are also mixed teams of guys & dolls. It's very fast & fun to watch.
