NYC trip

Should we make a thread and try to decide on some locations to go to? Nashville, Atlantic City, Chicago, Atlanta?

Vegas would be completely out of the question for me, I know that. Maybe in 3-4 years, but over the next 3 years I'm going to continue to be fairly broke. lol

same here. If we do cheap get togethers seasonally, and maybe one BIG get together once a year, that would be cool.

yeah that would be awesome. I would have to say that manhattan would be considered one of those big get togethers. I think we should hit the beach next time....maybe a florida beach, with cheap bars.

i'll travel anywhere.. like i said-- and i dont even need it to be a big city, or even go to the bar... drinkin' and hanging out at someones house would be fine... super 8 all the way!

lol- yea nyc was probably considered a big trip- it costed alot of money for all of us. Between hotel, plane and side stuff... it was much.. lol

I know we can get some really great deals in smaller places. Maybe we can research some cool areas and make our plans that way.. or something

i'm all about road trips too... as long as its somewhere i can get within a day

Hell if you want small towns, come here to New Haven. There's a liqour store right across the street from me, one 4 blocks west and about 5 bars that are 6 blocks east of here. We could get smashed and barhop all within a 4 block radius. lol

Fort wayne is about 5 miles west of here, glenbrook mall, the coliseum, downtown at headwaters park. Then we could take a trip out to Piere's on St Joe road...

Hey Jersey, don't fret. Alicia and I will come on down to your neck of the woods and get drunk with you and chris. Alicia has family in Red Bank and we go there a couple of times a year. We will be there May 6th......

You know what - as much as I was really sad I cldn't go, for real, I am so plsd you all had such an amazing time.

I haven't seen the pics yet, as need to catch up on the gen board 1st, but will take a look soon.

I am not surprised one bit, you all got on as well as you did - it wld be just like we all are on here, only you lot managed to meet up.

Yeah, it may be possible - I get awkward chances to go anywhere though, as I have my son to think about. Cnt just ask his so-called father to have him if you know what I mean - he makes things bad the whole time for my son and at me.

I'm not ruling it out though - cld meet London, but I got restrictions there too as dnt do tube or buses. I walk to Covent Garden, Southbank, when I go there - well, that's not very often anyway.

But yes, see what we can do at some point.

There is another on here frm Manchester I think he is.

Ha ha, no there's not many of us frm England, is there? We'll work something out.

Not liking the pics idea though - it terrifies me having my pic taken, I have a real stress out over it, like a panic attack, for real.

Covert Gardens is superd, I know a great Beatles pub there, a superb Belgian reastaurant/ bar, a world beers bar and a good Walkabout. Anytime you come down let me know and I can try and make it, it's only 1/2 - 3/4 hr away from me!
