Last month we had pretty good participation...let's keep it up!!! I figure this is a good way to encourage each other to get our exercise in. So the way this works is that you set a goal for minutes of exercise for the month and then *gasp* you try to meet it.

The way we do it on the weight loss forum is that you just make 1 post and you edit it to update throughout the month. HOWEVER, once so much time has passed on this forum you are not able to edit your post unless you're a moderator. So if you will just make a new post once you're no longer able to edit, I will merge the posts for you to make it one post. ;) Please do not quote your previous post in your additional posts as it creates a lot more work than what is necessary just to merge them. ;)

Kick it in gear, folks...time to get exercising!!! With the nice weather coming in, there's just no excuse. You can find 15 - 30 minutes per day to take a walk...all it takes is getting up a few minutes earlier. ;)

You know what, I do!

Thanks, Tash. I even have a DVD I can run through a couple times to hit at least thirty. Got nothing else going. Just watching TV online and crocheting... Which can wait.

My goal this month will be 300 minutes again. I shall start tomorrow. :D

(Oh and sorry about the quoting of posts in the October thread. I didn't realize it was a pain in the butt for merging. :ninja)

I'm a cyclist, so the majority of my workouts are on my trainer when it's so cold outside. When it's nice, I will ride the trails outside or ride roadside if the roads are in good condition. Friday's I ride the Chinese Downhill here, so that will be my friday workout.
Twice a week I do strength training for my upper body to stay in shape for mountain bike season.

Oh God bless you...I just bought a bike and I am struggling w/ hills right now. I know it gets better...but I don't even know how the hell to operate my 7 speed yet!!! LOL Thanks for joining in!!!

I stand by some is better than none. :D If I do ten minutes a day, then I've done ten minutes more than nothing.

Well, my goal is just for going to the gym. If I included all my physical activity I'd be doing 450 minutes a day plus gym time. :willy_nilly:

Count it, girl!

Although, I guess I'm not counting housework, and I"m on feet for 1 to 2 hours a day doing chores.

You CAN count housework, guys (as long as you're moving and getting in some physical activity while doing housework...and if you can figure out how to do housework w/o that, please let me know, LOL)...but I draw the line at the willy nilly smiley, LMFAO
