Did you all know that Sara Gilbert (Darleen from Roseanne) is gay? I just heard this on the Talk today I had no idea and was shocked I thought she was married with kids. Maybe she does I does that doesnt exclude her. OK Im done now I was just so shocked I wanted to know if Im the only one on the planet that didnt know this. So am I?

Its one of those things that i remember thinking of when i used to watch the show with my uncle on regular network TV way back when... it really comes as no surprise! i know teh character was meant to be a tom-boy'ish girl but even then she had the butch look to her lol

Sara was so natural playing the part of "Darlene" that it's hard to picture her acting as a person other than Darlene. If she played the part of a friendlier, upbeat woman, it wouldn't seem natural to me since I'm used to her playing the dark, depressed, Darlene.

Is she the one who had two children with her partner? Her partner was pregnant with the first child and then with the second child she was the one who was pregnant?
