Hmmm...Coyotes fan...

Honestly, we won't miss Torres. He's a hard hitter, but truthfully, he's not the only one. And he's reckless. And he's kind of a dickweed. And he's got a prior history. Of course I want to say there was no malicious intent because I hate to think someone would go out of their way to injure someone...especially after the Shaw/Smith fiasco on Saturday...but it's hard to know. Especially since no one knows exactly what was going through Torres' head except him.

IMO, this just gives BizNasty a chance to step up. Emotions run high in the playoffs and bad shit is going to happen. I just hate how this has reflected badly on the whole organization. And am kind of surprised that people are pissed the Coyotes won't talk about it one way or the other. I think it's smart for them to keep their mouths shut. And hey, if it makes the Hawks too focused on the hit to play good hockey and we win again tomorrow, I can't say I'll complain.

I'm disappointed by the display of bad sportsmanship overall this year in the playoffs.

BTW. My comment about him being a hard hitter was not a justification for what he did. Just a statement that that's really all he brings to the table, and we won't miss him because there are other people who can step up in his place. Like cute little Oliver Ekman-Larsson! ;)

Huh? What the fuck does that even mean? It was a dangerous hit and he deserves a suspension for it... what else do you expect me to say here? Neal's hit on Couturier was way worse and he's damn lucky that there wasn't a serious injury, and the hit on Giroux was lucky that it wasn't an injury either. The cross-check that Asham delivered to Schenn was probably the worst hit so far. What happened to Hossa was terrible, but it wasn't nearly as dirty as some people are making it out to be either. Hell, if he stayed on his skates, there's probably the same end result, but all that could be said was that it was possibly a late hit and maybe a charge.

Speaking of dirty hits... how 'bout this one... you'd think that the Sedin sisters would've learned after what Daniel just came back from. Granted, it's not on the same level... but Henrik better be getting a call from Mr. Shanahan on this one.

Oh, and this is what I've shown to all of the Blackhawks fans that are looking for blood from Torres.

That was intent to injure and a completely malicious hit on a completely defenseless player. Yet somehow, they all seem to find excuses for that one, or Shaw's headshot on our fucking goalie... but Torres may as well have committed murder.

Speaking of Ekman-Larsson.... how 'bout this bitch move by Toews? Gotta love the kid for getting in Toews' face after that stunt.

I'm defensive because you ignored me and that means you don't love me anymore!!!

;)

Will you root for us if we knock the Blackhawks out of the playoffs? Or is your heart going to LA if/when they beat the Canucks? :p

What is this "if" word you're using? :p

YESSSSSS!!!! Now I have the entire Coyotes fanbase defensive. :D :ninja *runs away fast*

I'll deal with who to cheer for once the dust from the first round has settled. I hate to count my kings before they're crowned and if the Canucks manage the improbable comeback I'll be dead and therefore won't be cheering for anyone. :tooth

Saw some highlights of the Pens game last night, first one I've missed and fuck it looked like another crazy one!

Canucks finally brought it last night. Daniel made such a big difference to the team. Schneider is on his game right now too I hope to see him picked again Sunday. I went to CBC studios to watch the game and the atmosphere was amazing. Second best thing to actually being there. Can't get carried away, though. Still need another two just to tie the series.

We get a 2-0 lead in the 3rd, only to blow it and let the Hawks tie it with a little over a minute left. Overtime. Again.

Fuck this shit.
