A guy walks into a bar and asks for an Ovechkin.

The bartender asks, "What's an Ovechkin?"

The guy replies, "A white Russian without a cup."

So...Phoenix/LA looks like it's going to be a quick series. *snort* Get it? Quick series? free-happy-smileys-839.png

Yeah, yeah, I know...I'm so clever... :ninja

We'll see. The Coyotes kind of imploded tonight. But there were a lot of BAD calls in that game. Anyone with two unbiased eyes can see that.

Honestly, I think it would be hysterical for half the team to get suspended. Then the Coyotes will be in the WCF with a bunch of people no one's ever heard of and we can destroy the Kings that way.

Honestly, I think we can still stand a chance. We are an excellent road team. If we can play an entire game the way we played in the beginning of this game, the Kings don't stand a chance. Look at how they scrambled when they met a team that challenged them.

We just have to stop being so emotional. >.<

Doesn't help with all the trolling that this is the last game the Coyotes will ever play in Phoenix.

We were the 3rd least penalized team in the regular season... and we're the most penalized team in the playoffs, of the four that are left.

I watched a replay on my computer.

I have seen worse and I have watched at least twice as many hockey games as you.

What part has you the most pissed off?

I think it was a bang bang play as far as it being a late hit and too close to call

I did not see it in any way as throwing out a knee

The lower body part looked like a clean hit

What I did see that was not mentioned by the announcers was how his elbow came up

In which case it is another example of a lack of respect of opponents

I dunno AA, I'm with retro on this one (though not quite as vehemently :ninja). The knee-on-knee hit was pretty cheap on Brown's part.

Did you see Doan's interview after the game? It was kind of funny because he was trying not to get himself into trouble with his comments but boy was he PISSED.

Oh, and I think the Rangers are pretty much done. NJ won tonight and I don't think the Rangers have enough steam to come back and win two elimination games.

I was pretty surprised, honestly, when I saw the interview. I've never seen him like that before. People can say it's because the team is full of sore losers all they want, but Doan's been on a relatively sucky team his whole career. He's used to losing, and a lot. He's not mad about losing, he's mad about the way in which it happened. I can't really blame him, but I was definitely surprised to see him show emotion like that.

So because you've watched more hockey games than I have and seen worse hits that means that this one wasn't bad? What kind of bizarre twisted logic is that? :p You also don't know how many hockey games I've watched either. ;) But that being said, it was a fucked up hit, he led with his knee and then threw his elbow up chicken wing style at the last second. If he hadn't have thrown his elbow up, then it's a blatant knee to knee hit, but he somehow gets away with it because of a little upper body contact. For as bad as Brown's hit on Rozsival was though, Doughty and Stoll's hits on Chipchura and Gordon were even worse, and Doughty didn't even get a damn penalty for his. I'm trying to see if I can find a video of it, but it was every bit as bad as the Hanzal hit on Brown in Game 2 that got him a 5min major, game misconduct, and a game suspension.

The officiating in the series was a giant fucking joke.
