never give up budwondering if there is anything left in the Bruins tank
I honestly didn't think the Bruins would be in this position 3 games ago. If the Bruins lose I have a co-worker who's going to be VERY ticked off. :willy_nilly:win or go home.....lets get the win and get the Habs!

There. I said it.

my theory
two consecutive stanley cups plus an olympics takes a toll physically and mentally
your studs ran out of gas
gonchar was invisible on moens goal, if i did not know better i would think he was being paid to ignore him, take a dive in boxing parlanceThere are no words to describe the bowel movement that was that game 7. While I agree fatigue probably was a factor and Fleury hadn't been the same since the olympic break, there is really no excuse other than bad play. Gonchar who is usually our x-factor was out to lunch and played more nonchalant than usual. I don't get it. The sad thing is he's been an amazing asset to us for five years and because of that one shift where he totally side stepped to allow a short handed goal, the cry is for him to get to packing.
I really can't wrap my head around it. I give a crap ton of credit to Halak...we still peppered him with 35 shots that night. But the Habs had I think 20...that's it...and scored FIVE GOALS! Abysmal.

weird
anyways enough torture for you, not a nice way to close the igloo though
You know for a brief moment...a very very very brief moment I lost my mind and thought, "they're throwing this game." That was the only way I could get my brain 'round it. But I think they just didn't have any gas left in the tank...still, it was really disappointing.
Little fun fact though. The Habs beat us at home in the very first game ever played at the Arena and now have beaten us in the very last...
