I know the Oilers have cheerleaders now. I didn't think the Flames did. :unsure: That's annoying, if they do.

i stand corrected, i heard mention of cheerleaders on TSN prior to the flames avs game, mebbe they were just going to talk about it

Excellent. I was rather skeptical about cheering for a hockey team that had cheerleaders. They may have been referring to the Oilers. :nod:

the Bruins have had "Ice girls" at their home games, though not really cheerleaders per se.....they go into the stands and act like they are cool and stuff

I think a lot of the newer hockey markets have cheerleaders. The Oilers are the first (and so far only) Canadian team to have them. This doesn't include "ice girls"...the ones that clean up the ice and such during stoppages in the play. I think every team has those.

most of them look like they are 12

they are part of the marketing department as well as they use those stupid "cannons" to fire t-shirts into the crowd

One of my co-workers is a Bruins fan and another co-worker is a Habs fan. It's always good times at work when those teams play each other. :thumbup
