I'm the same way. Try some Reel Big Fish and Voodoo Glow Skulls (especially their cover of "I used to love her" originally by Guns N Roses).

I also love Cake (Italian Leather Sofa, Frank Sinatra, Friend is a Four Letter Word) and Crash Test Dummies.
