Just thought I'd share the good news! After my interview on Wednesday, I got my letter whilst at work on Friday night that I'd been successful!
I work part time (I'm a student full time) for a company which does telephone fundraising for different charities - kind of like the "middle man" between certain charities and their donors. We occasionally do the cold calls, asking people if they would accept a money box for the charity into their homes, and for some charities we attempt to sign existing donors up to direct debits and so on.
Anywho my job just now is to do just that - I'm a telephone fundraiser. However, my interview was for an opening within the company's Campaign Administrator team, basically rather than being front-of-house (in a way), I'll be away hidden in the office through the back doing all the campaign monitoring, compiling reports, liaison with clients, answering the helpline, and doing all the other general admin work.
I am to meet with one of the directors this week to discuss shift patterns and my start date, I'm super excited!
