Yes, I have one.

I do still of course highly rate V for Vendetta, but this just blew me away - especially because this so accurately represented what I hoped it would :thumbup

If I'm sounding vague - it's because there's 5000 tokenz up for grabs!! Yeah, I've not much but willing to give some away if you can guess the movie.

Maximum of three guesses per person.

Clues:

1) I loved this director's early movies.
2) Eggs (for the lateral thinkers).
3) It's relatively recent (2008/2009).

edit: at my discretion I may nullify a guess based on factors including not being related to the clues.

I was thinking of Inglorious Bastards, but have no idea how the eggs would fit in.

Nope.

Sorry.

Except for this last clue, this would fit :D

Sorry I got nothing :D

:24: Nope.

Hmm, given the lack of replies, I guess the clues were too hard. Hard to give too many more clues without making it obvious due to the particular film.

Ok, here's another couple of clues.

1) My original 3rd clue was not me being unsure ;)
2) One of the director's early movies features interesting hospital scenes.
3) The Eggs clue relates to the title of one of the director's previous movies.

Sorry 3/3 :( - perhaps, but I guess part of it involves knowing this guys previous movies. You'll see how the clues fit in once the title is revealed or guessed. I'll explain them too of course.

Robin Hood?

.

American Gangster

Ok, I'm going to nullify your three guesses and Thorny's one guess for not being related to the clues :)

Edited the original post to reflect that.

Reason being - your guesses (and Thorny's jokey guess) don't fit one or more of the clues - in this case released in 2008 and 2009.

More clues.

The film is long - very long. Long is subjective but in this case, its length didn't bother me - it was that engrossing.

I would consider it an 'epic'. Scrub that, whatever you think of the movie - I don't think anyone can deny having seen it that it is not an 'epic' at least in terms of viewing spectacle.

I have another clue lined up which will substantially narrow down the choices but I'm going to wait a bit.
