Need help quitting.

If you have some insurance or just a pile of cash laying around. Get some Welbutrin. I had to take it for awhile and it will make cigs repulsive. Plus it takes the want away mostly. I got off the welbutrin and still smoked. I wasn't trying to quit though so I wanted to pick it back up.

Hey lemon...I doubt seriously they need any excuses to do that... lol
Tim...I stopped at 2359 New Year's Eve. Just dropped it, swigged some champagne, and had my kiss, then swigged some more...and a little more...and...well, you get the picture.
I keep bowls of candy by the bed...Blow Pops are GREAT because after you're through with the lolly, you can chew the gum a while. Luden's Wild Cherry Throat Drops are another GREAT thing to have. You can find them at Wal-Mart. I have some dark chocolate Hershey's Kisses in another bowl, and a few other things, as well.
I also started drinking more water, rather than Dr. Pepper, and let me tell ya...it's TOUGHER than quitting smoking.
It's great, too, that you have someone to do this with. I probably would have done it sooner had I had another smoker around...I mean, I quit every time I felt it necessary (y'all can figure that one out), but then I'd start right back up again.
And last thing... I'm very proud of both of you. Not that it means shit, but I've been there...and it's one hell of a great decision to do this!

We both made it a full 5 days, then started sucking them down like we never quit. On to plan "B"

All I can tell you is that quitting is easy when you roll your own cigarettes... or maybe it isn't - but it worked for my brother! For absolutely no goddamn reason, he started smoking, and then for some other goddamn reason he just said he won't smoke anymore, and never did. Pretty cool huh? Well I guess that's no help at all since you probably don't roll your own cigarettes so my point is..... well I really don't have a point. Get addicted to something else maybe? I heard Everquest (NEVER played it though) is perfect, doesn't affect you physically much.
