My fiance' and I quit smoking. Our last day of smoking was Friday 2/10. We were both avid smokers 1 to 1.5 packs a day each. We decided to go "cold turkey" and tough it out over the week-end... But in the last 6 days we have cheated a few times, like both taking 2 hits each to calm us down. I'm ok with this as long as we don't start up again. We talked about going on the patch, but the physical addiction to nicotine is easily kicked (it's over in 3-4 days) its the habit and pychological addiction that is the hardest to beat, and I don't want to be dependant on nicotine.
I want to know if anyone has any tips or suggestions to help us kick this fucking nasty habit that we love so damned much. And for all you non-smokers out there that say "just don't smoke" or some other smart ass comment, remember, it would be like me telling you to just not eat... the hunger (cravings) will overcome your will power...
