life and death struggles are the norm in nature, its often kill or be killed, these scenarios are happening right under our noses if we look closely, whether its the spiders web ensnaring a fly or the predatory fly catching its next meal on the wing, its there in all of its brutal glory

thanks......but theres someone on this forum who says i'm shit at photographing insects
Um............ he doesn't count Ian because he doesn't post any of his stuff here ... even if he did that would amount to about the same 10 shots which he posts at numerous other places around the web anywhoo. That leads me to think one of two things. 1) He's ashamed of posting his stuff here where people can actually comment. 2) He thinks we're not good enough to view his stuff. :24: He has a couple of nice shots when it comes to people / portraits but his landscapes and anything to do with nature are basically snapshots. Like Tim pointed out in a different thread macro isn't one of his strong points either. Something else for you to consider when you are letting his comments get to you. Over that last century or two he spoke of his web site that was in the works but it was slowed down due to his crappy ISP. Well it seems he's got a decent enough connection to post his few shots hither, thither and yon as well as be on this site for hours at a stretch. He even had the " announcement " in his signature until I called him on it. With that said if I were you I wouldn't listen to much he has to say and I'd flick him off like an annoying bug.

there is nothing wrong with constructive critisism. the problem is when it turns into blatant bashing. this would maybe be ok on a photography forum were there is a large number of diverse photographers and different opinions and you can get a full on debate going.. but there are only a few of us here and some people who have an interestes but dont do. so it doesnt really work. id never pick out bad bits of a photo without stating whats good.

There is something wrong with it if it's............

- uninvited
- done by an individual that doesn't post his own stuff which is the case with Tuffy

nice pictures, skyblue..
but what do we understand from this?
nature always teach us..
this picture teach us that life and death are circle.. today we are live, tomorrow we maybe are dead..

look ate the circle life of trees:

590_3879_arbre_printemps.gif

590_3877_arbre_automne.gif

590_3878_arbre_hiver.gif

finally it return ti be life again :

590_3879_arbre_printemps.gif

we, human, are same..
we are live now, then we will die.. after that we will return to the life again
