I'm not part of this discussion, but, it sure was a heartwarming read. We all have people we call friends, most are pretty casual. It's a rare thing to find someone who is the true epitome of a GOOD friend. Looks like you, three, have found that. The good part of it is that you're all smart enough to realize that and have brought it out in the open.

I'm very open about my feelings about good friends. I find that too many people don't take the time to tell their friends how much they appreciate them and then, one day, it's too late. To some it comes off as brown-nosing or ass-kissing or blowing smoke up someone's ass...but if I don't mean it, I don't say it. I'm very fortunate to have some very good friends...some that I've come across in person and some that I've managed to find right here on the internet through this forum. For that I am VERY thankful.

Growing up I never really had very many girls that were friends, I always seemed to get along with males better due to the fact that women are so drama infested with petty and bitchiness so I was surprised when I actually found a friend like Veronica. We never knew eachother before I joined the forum but had a girls weekend in NYC that was planned with a few of the female members from this forum years ago and the rest is history.
I gotta say though shes one in a million I have never had someone in my life that stood by me and was there for me like she has been. Shes actually dropped everything in her life to fly to WI and spend time with me awhile back when I was going through some rough times. Im one of those people that stupid shit always seems to follow also, and as many times as Ive messed up and I mean MESSED UP big time even after shes warned me to not do things at times and shes still always been there. Shes someone who I know will tell me honestly how she feels also and doesnt sugar coat things because shes afraid my feelings will get hurt, thats the best kind of friend you can ask for also. I just hope that I can do for her what she has done for me someday. Shes not my blood but I love her like a sister and value our friendship more than words could ever say.
