Well my company is taking a HUGE hit right now.

They're closing down some of the Scotts food stores here in town... because Scotts was bought out by Krogers.

So I go to get Apples, dr pepper and lunch meat. Guess what scotts doesn't have?!?

So I go to Krogers. It's packed. I hate Krogers. But I guess I'm stuck with it if I don't want to drive 10 minutes to Meijer.

Why is my company taking a huge hit you probably will not ask anyway?

Yeah, Scotts was our biggest customer - 28 stores. 5 had our phone systems in them.

So I was about 3 minutes from my house after 17 hours of driving back from Texas last month and I get a phone call.

Its my buddy gregs wife, Kylene.

She calls me to let me know that she's knocked up with the little demon seed from my friend Greg.

w00t!!! First to get married, first to have a baby! Maybe I'll be the godfather? doubt it. But oh well.

Anywho... just another thought process I've written down.

THey bring your food out to you when they didn't have whatever it was you ordered pre-ready (like in the little metal bins pre-made).

That way if the person behind you ordered something that they DID have pre-mae .. they can give it to them and let them be on their way .. instead of backing the line up around the building waiting for your fries to cook .. which would cause people to look at their drive-thru line and keep going because it was too long.

Nah that wasn't it. They wanted to keep their drive through times down because the company looks at how fast they get through the customers. They're actually sacrificing good service for times. I can see why though, because the employees will get raises based on their performance.

I worked there for two years. I know how it works.

The sad thing is, no one pulled up behind me until after he brought my food out. But they rushed it through so fast that she didn't give me my damn receipt.

I've never had anyone do that here in all my 30 years. There has always been someone behind us. The food we got after pulling up has always been the hottest food I've ever got too.

Personally .. I like it when I have to pull up.

I don't go throught he drive-thru because I think it's quicker (which it isn't) .. I just don't want to go in and stand up and wait (especially if there are other people in there), I'd rather sit and wait in my car. LOL

I usually go inside, actually. I'd rather be able to order something fresh and not make people wait. Today though I just ordered a sandwich so it should have taken 4 minutes, not the 10 it did plus when I had to go in to get my receipt.

Usually, if I am eating fast food .. I either look like shit or feel like shit .. which is why I am choosing at that time to eat shit.

I get my shit to-go while sitting in my car listening to cd's LMAO. If I want real "fast food" .. I bring my own and nuke it. lol
