heres the thing I started to close it and stopped it in the middle and then opened it again then when I tried to reclose it again now its messed up I dunno I need a man to come fix this crap for me dammit!!!!

Mine does that when something has knocked the safety latch on ( the cats) I just have to flip it back off and it works fine.

Maybe something flipped the safety latch thing

We had that happen to us once. One of the sensors had been knock crooked and all we had to do is straighten it.

well I figured it out Im still not sure what it was. I went out and pulled on the little red handle on the string part way and it clicked and when I pushed the button it closed, so that must have reset it. I dunno hopefully it works tomorrow morning when I have to go to work!
