Matt's parents, wonderful wonderful people that they are, just gave Matt and I the most amazing present ever (not that they celebrate Christmas, but still).
A friggin' COTTAGE!
And completely randomly too. Matt was on the phone with his dad, talking about what he wanted to do for New Years, and then his dad just says to him, "Yeah, you know the cottage up in Ses? We don't really use it anymore, and Paul doesn't really want it. So, do you want it?"
We get a little holiday home! And it gets lots of snow in the winter, and lots of flies in the summer, and it's right next to a lake and a railroad track and has a woodstove and a deck and lots of grass, and there's this old lady down the street who lets you ride her horses and it's nestled in the middle of nowhere (actually, northern Ontario).
