Thank you! I'm going to teach her to ride shotgun, and she better stick her head out the window so her ears can beat her up because that's just cute! She already took over my recliner. I wonder what's next...

I had a boxer until I moved into this apartment complex and they don't allow dogs over 50lbs at full grown weight. His name was max and i had him until he was about 9 months.... :sigh:

I for some reason had a dream last night about my old german sheppard. I would do anything to have him back. he ran away from our old house. New area, so he wasnt familiar w/ it.

ive always wanted a boxer

They are awesome dogs. They truly are 70 lb lap dogs.

Thats how my chocalate lab is, except she's 90lbs. Ive been thinking about getting a boxer too. Are they real hyper? I've heard they are

Yes and no. I got him at 8 weeks old and by the time i had to give him up at 9 months, he was house trained. You have to be strict with them about jumping as puppies and you have to socialize them very early on. They are not guard dogs whatsoever because they love everyone. When I buy my own house, i will be getting another boxer. My suggestion, if you are serious about getting one, is to find a breeder that has both parents on site so that you can see their traits first hand. Feel free to ask any other questions.
