It's a Nikon D-40 and I got a bag, a book on SLR's, an extra battery pack, and 2 memory cards for it!

I want to upload some of the first pics I took on it, but my pc isn't cooperating. I downloaded the software and plugged in the chord but it just refuses to actually respond! I can't figure it out
